Hyde Renewables was founded in 2015 as Hyde Engineering Services by Tripp Hyde, an avid adventurer and dedicated engineer, as a one-person consulting firm specializing in electrical design for behind-the-meter battery storage. Tripp’s passion has attracted some of the industry’s best and brightest to join the leadership and engineering teams. Hyde is proud to work on some of the largest and most unique energy projects in the country.
Over the past several years, the team has gained the experience, and earned the trust, to deliver some of the most complex engineering challenges advanced energy projects face, such supporting an energy storage retrofit on the 100MW Mustang Solar project in California, or the first-of-its-kind DC electric design for the Matthew Turner hybrid brigantine. We continue to take pride in our ability to tackle customers’ toughest challenges, no matter how big or small. We believe that through quality work, prompt communication, creative problem solving, and recognizable value creation, we will continue to earn our clients’ trust.
